Petra Aichholz is born in 1969 and married with 2 sons. 

Living and working as a freelance artist in Stuttgart, Germany, Aichholz previously made a career as a lawyer and advocate, most recently working in a large firm focusing on strategy and conception, project management as well as people change management.

Aichholz has been painting since her childhood. She broadened and deepened her portfolio when she collaborated with a renowned artist in 2004. Since then the development of self-taught techniques and experimentation, inspiration from visits to various academies and trips both abroad and closer to home contribute to the personal and eclectic pieces she produces today.

Since 2006 Aichholz takes part in numerous national and international exhibitions.
